Pons is an artist originally from Guatemala. In January Tampa Tunes put out it's first painted piano at 1920 Ybor, now home to The Attic. The piano is entitled, "Abundance" Artist Carlos Pons, who owns Paz Art Creations. He also painted murals at ZooTampa, 7th & Grove and other at Tampa landmarks. The fourth piano was already painted and was donated by Tad Denham of "Recycled Tunes," which upcycles used musical instruments, and also organized Gasparilla Music Festival. That piano was available at Big Easy Bar on 7th Ave, marking the 4th piano in Ybor as we round out the 4th month of the year for the new Tampa Tunes Public Pian

Our Jayhawk's themed piano was painted by artist Sara Dell. This piano has been maintained for well over a decade, and was inspired by the University of Kansas sports team!
